Materials: Water, sensors, wood, wires, notes
This work explores the inner rhythms of rain, using sensors that react to drops of water. These sensors then control a series of mechanical glockenspiel notes, which ring whenever a drop of water has been detected.
Using musical notes, the viewer will become aware of the inherent musical nature of the natural processes that surround us. A constantly evolving audio visual experience is created, entirely dependent on the weather - if there is no rain, there will be no sound.
